CWS Newsletter Update 6.15.2026
CWS Summer Update – 6.15.2026
We’re one week into the season and already seeing great energy across the program (with a little rain mixed in). Please review the updates below.
Blue Ox Recap
Our first tournament is complete. With only a few practices beforehand, both teams started a bit scattered, which was expected. By the end of the weekend, it was clear the players were beginning to work together and find their rhythm. While both teams finished 1–4, there was strong effort, great attitudes, and positive energy from both players and families throughout.
Apparel Order Update
Our original fan gear store has closed. For those who placed orders, items are on the way.
We’re excited that Audrey Jensen, CWS parent and board member, has organized a final, limited run of fan gear ahead of the Milwaukee tournament. With the event approaching quickly, timelines are tight and available items and colors are limited.
All orders and payments are due by noon on Friday, June 19, 2026. Late orders cannot be accepted.
Player name personalization is available for jerseys and shooter shirts, and name-only requests can also be submitted. Audrey and her husband will be at practices this week to collect orders and payments (Venmo, cash, or check).
If you are part of the 14U team, Audrey may need help connecting names with families—please introduce yourself at practice or reach out if you’re able to assist.

Next Tournament – Goodland Invitational
Our next event is July 11–12 in Milwaukee, followed by Rip the Wave the next weekend. Please book hotels as soon as possible, as room blocks will be released soon and availability may become limited. Tournament and hotel details can be found here:
12U Team Interest – Goodland Tournament (CWS)
We are exploring the possibility of adding a 12U Central Wisconsin Select team for the Goodland Tournament.
- Intended for players with prior experience (not first-time players)
- Players should have completed at least one spring season
- Participants are encouraged to attend current weekly practices
- Cost is $150 per player
- Equipment may be borrowed with a $40 refundable deposit
- No payment is required at this time; this is an interest-only sign-up
- If the team is formed, payment will be collected at registration
- No discounts apply for this event
We need to determine interest within the next few days, so timely responses are appreciated.

Thank You and Looking Ahead
We want to thank all families for the strong support so far. Prompt payments, completing waivers, and creating a positive, team-first environment have made a big difference.
As we look ahead, we will need more parent involvement. Many of us will begin transitioning out as our players age out. We have a small, informal board and could use help with registration, communications/newsletters, and coordination.
I will be stepping down in September and shifting into more of a support role, and several others will be doing the same. If you are interested in helping in any capacity, we would greatly appreciate it. The program depends on parent involvement to continue providing opportunities for the kids.
Thank you again for a great start to the season—we’re looking forward to building on it in the weeks ahead.
